Our journey in retail began 20 years ago when
we both left conventional jobs to take a year off to
travel. While exploring the landscape on a trip to the
southwest, we met many artists and developed a
passion for Native American jewelry and crafts. We
decided to try selling the treasures we discovered
and named our business Coyote Impressions after
our southwestern inspiration.
For our first few years, we sold at craft fairs
and colleges. After developing a loyal customer
following, we opened our gift shop in Arlington in
1994, which has also been our hometown for many
years. While we continue to carry Native American
jewelry, dream catchers, pottery and artifacts,
we are widely known for our beautiful artisan
jewelry. Unique, handcrafted and affordable, we
sell necklaces, earrings and bracelets made from
seaglass, dichroic glass, sterling silver and Austrian
crystals. We usually have over a 1,000 pairs of
earrings to select from! We are also known as
the local source for Judaica, Arlington and Boston
souvenirs, toys, and numerous other interesting and
creatively designed gifts.
To quote one of our customers, we have “an
eclectic, fun and interesting mix of products —
something for every taste and personality.”
