In 1938, Nino Alessandroni opened the family’s
first nursing center in Somerville. Park Avenue Nursing
& Rehabilitation Center was subsequently established
in 1953. Nino’s sons, Joseph and Nicholas, succeeded
him and opened the current Arlington facility in 1972
as an 80-bed long-term care center and, for a time,
delivered meals to Arlington’s shut-in seniors. Today,
John Alessandroni continues the family tradition of
providing top-quality care and services.
