Some people think that Derby Farm Flowers &
Gardens is mainly a flower shop, others think that
we specialize in gifts. The great news is that we
provide award-winning floral design services along
with an eclectic array of nature-inspired gifts for the
home, garden and body.
We take pleasure in your joy when we present
a gorgeous bouquet, and delight in helping you
find unanticipated treasures, from fine jewelry,
mossy planters, hand-made ceramics, and garden
ornaments to luxurious soaps and lotions, naturally
scented candles and home furnishings.
We love the artistry of floral design. We
are inspired by unusual flowers and organic
compositions. Our style is gardeny and lush, drawing
upon my landscape design background and garden
aesthetics.

Design Moods Gallery was created in 2001 BD
(Before Digital) with my father’s clunky and heavy
self-focusing 35 mm film camera. Although I have
gone 21st Century digital, I still use my terrific old film
camera which is affectionately called The Dinosaur.
Design Moods Gallery is a 24/7 online photo
gallery specializing in fine art note cards and
prints. A large selection of cards is sold locally in
Arlington at Play Time, Inc., The Book Rack and the
Cyrus Dallin Art Museum. For a complete selection

The keepsake cards are suitable for all ages and
occasions. They have been sent all over the world; it
is a good feeling to know that your images are sent
to uplift, comfort or perhaps cheer a tired spirit. Many
recipients frame them. Who does that with an e-mail?
Design Moods Gallery is still growing. In 2013,
look for mixed media note cards plus personally
monogrammed note card sets that are perfect for that
special “thank you” to a client. Also, keepsake photo
books for birthdays, new babies and other occasions.
