New England’s Premier Hand Drumming School,
serving the rhythmic community for over 22 years.
DrumConnection offers excellence in African, Cuban
and other “ethnic” drum instruction from private
classes to exciting workshops and performances.
Located on Mass Ave on the Capitol Block, we
offer daytime drumming for the kids and families
and nightly drumming classes for adults.

• Full drum repair facility on site
Drumming is a great way to add musical brain
functioning to your child’s education. For adults,
drumming actually changes brain chemistry
and helps you ward off unwanted illnesses. We
work with Emerson Hospital, Beth Israel, and the
Massachusetts Brain Injury Foundation.
With our close ties to Guinea, West Africa and in
association with masters from the motherland like
Famoudou Konaté and Mamady Keita, we bring you
a rich heritage of the birthplace of the drums.
